Safe Sitter® Essentials and CPR

$18.00
Renown Regional Medical Center – Sierra Café Meeting Room 105

Overview

Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises.

Students will learn safety skill, childcare skills, first aid and rescue skills, life and business skills, and CPR. Each participant will receive a handbook and a certificate of completion, not a traditional CPR card.

Safe Sitter® is designed as an independent learning experience for students to build confidence and decision-making skills. For this reason, parent/guardian participation or observation is not permitted during class time, as it can impact student engagement and group learning. Educators will supervise students during breaks and lunch to ensure their safety.

Please pack a lunch, water & snacks or you can eat at our Sierra Café or Starbucks.

ER Wait Times

How are wait times calculated?

Our estimated ER wait times reflect the average time from check-in to being seen by a medical professional during triage, where patients are prioritized based on the severity of their condition.
