As an affiliate Teaching Hospital for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med), we are charged with a mission of enhancing Nevada’s medical education system, expanding clinical research capacity in northern Nevada and creating a world-class healthcare network.
Like many healthcare systems and medical schools across the nation, Renown and UNR Med have collaborated for decades to advance a mutual commitment to improving the health of the community. University Health providers participate in clinical rotations and the training of medical students and residents in various specialties, like internal medicine, psychiatry, family medicine and pediatrics.
In coordination with UNR Med, Renown Health offers opportunities for academic clinical practice for providers looking to teach the next generation of medicine.
