Approximately 37 million Americans, including 270,000 Nevadans, have been diagnosed with diabetes, and about 95% are living with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).

As the first academic and clinical research enterprise in Nevada, Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine partner to provide access to the region’s most advanced clinical trials. Our Office of Clinical Research supports numerous research efforts in various specialties and actively seeks new collaborations. Dozens of open clinical trials, including these, are currently underway at Renown Health.
Discover Renown Health’s First Rheumatology Study
Renown Health is excited to announce participation in our first rheumatology clinical trial, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing medical research and improving patient care. The study, led by rheumatologist and site-level Principal Investigator Dr. Kennedy Ukadike, focuses on evaluating the safety and efficacy of the experimental drug litifilimab in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
