Short Title: Zapphire

Enrollment Status: Recruiting

NCT #: NCT07516951

Specialty Area: Pulmonology

Condition Studied: Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)

Age Groups: Adult; Older Adult

Phase: II

Study Information

Summary / Purpose

To evaluate the efficacy of 2 dose strengths of CHF10067 in terms of change from baseline in percent predicted forced vital capacity (ppFVC) at Week 24 compared to placebo in the entire study population.

Study Type: Interventional
Accepts Healthy Volunteers: No

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Adults 40+ years of age
  • Diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) within the past 8 years
  • Have been receiving stable IPF treatment plan for at least 4 weeks
  • Have a DLCO, a measure of how well oxygen passes from the lungs into the blood, of at least 25% of the predicted value
  • Have an oxygen level above 90% at rest, with or without supplemental oxygen up to the study’s allowed limit

What's Involved

Participation in the study will include:
  • Study drug administration via infusion
  • High resolution CT (HRCT)
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)
