Study Information

Summary / Purpose

To find out which digital mindfulness approach—live online or app-based—is more effective at reducing depressive symptoms in younger breast cancer survivors.

Study Type: Interventional
Accepts Healthy Volunteers: No

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Adults 18+ years of age
  • Diagnosed with breast cancer at or before age 50
  • Completed primary cancer treatment (surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy) at least 6 months ago
  • Elevated depressive symptoms

What's Involved

Participation in the study will include:
  • Enrollment in one of three mindfulness-based programs:

1. A live, instructor-led version delivered over Zoom

2. A self-paced, app-based version

3. A meditation-only group

  • Questionnaires
