Renown Health announced the promotion of Jenny Juchtzer to Vice President of Payer Contracting, recognizing her longstanding leadership, deep institutional knowledge, and significant contributions to the organization’s financial and strategic success.

In this role, Juchtzer will continue to lead all hospital and professional managed care contracting on behalf of Renown Health, the region’s only locally owned not-for-profit academic health system. Juchtzer has served Renown Health in progressively senior roles for nearly two decades. Most recently, as Head of Payer Contracting, she led all managed care negotiations for hospital and professional services, developed innovative contracting models, and strengthened long-term relationships with payers, brokers and employer groups. Her work has ensured contracts remain aligned with market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and Renown’s long-term business objectives.

Career Highlights

Earlier in her tenure, Juchtzer held key leadership roles across hospital billing, payer contracting, strategic program development and supply chain analytics. As Director of Hospital Billing, she oversaw more than $800 million in annual revenue, led denial prevention initiatives, and achieved a 98% success rate in surprise billing arbitrations through strong collaboration with clinical, utilization management and physician advisor teams.

“Renown Health has been my professional home for many years, and I’m honored to step into this role,” said Juchtzer. “I look forward to continuing our work to build strong payer partnerships, advance value-based care strategies, and support Renown’s mission to save lives, nurture minds and care for all people.”

Juchtzer holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is licensed as a health and life insurance broker with the Nevada Department of Insurance and is actively engaged in community-focused volunteer and board service.
