Expanding not-for-profit mission by providing essential and advanced care to the community with primary care, urgent care, medical specialists, pharmacy, imaging and lab beginning in December 2027.
Renown Health celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony today at the site of its new medical facility in the Kiley Ranch neighborhood of Sparks, Nev., to expand access to high-quality, community-based care in one of the region’s fastest-growing neighborhoods.

The facility, located near Pyramid Way, Sparks Boulevard and Highland Ranch Parkway, will be on 40 acres in the Spanish Springs area. This property is a part of Renown’s long-term strategy to meet increasing demand for healthcare services in northern Washoe County. This 123,000 square foot facility will house 134 exam rooms and provide outpatient and preventive care services including Primary Care and Urgent Care, with rotating medical specialists in Pediatrics, Women’s Health (OB/GYN), and other disciplines. To add to patient convenience, Renown Pharmacy, Infusion, Imaging and Lab services will also be available. A future Ambulatory Surgery Center with 4 operating rooms is planned for 2028. The facility may also accommodate additional services over time as community needs continue to evolve.

The Kiley Ranch expansion aligns with Renown Health’s broader mission to improve health outcomes by emphasizing early intervention, preventive care and integrated services. By developing a neighborhood-focused outpatient hub, Renown aims to reduce travel times for patients and ease demand for Renown Regional Medical Center.

Over the last month, the Sparks City Council and Planning Commission have reviewed permits for grading, site work and underground utilities to facilitate the future Renown Health medical facility. The $140 million investment underscores Renown Health’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality care in one of the region’s fastest-growing areas.”
Renown Health’s Kiley Ranch facility is being designed by Stantec Architecture, a nationally recognized firm with a strong local presence, including an office on Kietzke Lane in Reno. Several architects working on the project also reside in the Reno area, reinforcing the project’s connection to the local community.

Warm, light-filled spaces, clear wayfinding, and thoughtfully designed waiting areas help reduce stress and create a sense of ease and connection. Throughout the building, views of the surrounding mountains and natural landscape bring a calming sense of place into the interior environment,” said Alisa Rice, principal architect for Stantec.
In addition to its in-house design team, Renown Health is partnering with several regional vendors and contractors to support construction, including Anseworth Associates Mechanical, P.K. Electrical, Clark Sullivan, Savage and Sons, Intermountain Electric and Mount Rose Heating and Cooling. These collaborations reflect a continued commitment to engaging local expertise and supporting the regional economy.
