Derek Beenfeldt, MD

Dr. Derek Beenfeldt is a local physician specializing in family practice. Dr. Beenfeldt comes to us from the University of Nevada School of Medicine where he completed both medical school and his training in family medicine. Dr. Beenfeldt received a law degree from the McGeorge School of Law, but after a couple of years as an attorney, found his true life calling and passion in medicine. He is deeply rooted in the community, as shown by his extensive volunteer experience, including spending time as a member of the University of Nevada Alumni Council. He is an avid runner, having run multiple marathons and ultra-marathons. Some other interests include participating in outdoor activities and spending time with his family. Dr. Beenfeldt sees a full range of patients from newborns to senior citizens, and would like to welcome you and your family to his practice.
