From the facility to all personnel, absolute professionalism. Everyone took the time to explain with clarity and make sure I was always comfortable. I felt like I was always the priority. Dr. Chu and all the Renown team exceeded expectations.

I was close to panic before meeting with Dr. Chu. She has a calm, professional presence that put me at ease almost immediately. She was extremely thorough and explained the plan and my options very well. I left the appointment feeling so much better. And the support staff is wonderful! The front desk (I can’t remember her name), Laura, Alexis, and Georganna are all compassionate and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable with them in charge!

Before I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I never paid much attention to breast cancer care. But once it became my reality, I became incredibly grateful to know that Reno has a breast cancer center with such excellent doctors and medical staff. The most frightening and overwhelming time for me was the period between receiving my diagnosis and being matched with a surgeon. However, after meeting Dr. Michelle Chu and her team, I felt a sense of peace and reassurance. I am especially thankful for Dr. Chu. It means so much to have a doctor who appreciates my sense of humor and laughs with me. From the moment I met her, I could feel how genuinely she cared for me as a person, not just as a patient. That compassion helped ease my fear and anxiety. Dr. Chu took the time to explain everything in a way that I could easily understand, rather than using medical terminology that only healthcare professionals would understand. She was patient, calm, and thorough in answering my questions. Most importantly, as someone with only limited medical knowledge, I was frightened about making the right decisions regarding my treatment. Dr. Chu carefully walked me through all of my options and helped me understand what would be the best choice for my situation. I was truly amazed by how much time she spent with me, thoughtfully discussing every concern and helping me navigate such an important decision. After meeting her, I completely understood why so many people highly recommend Dr. Chu and consider her one of the very best. The entire staff has been equally remarkable. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine care have challenged many of the assumptions I previously had about healthcare professionals. They treat patients with the same compassion and attentiveness that they would show to their own friends and family. Their support has helped melt away so much of the fear and tension I was carrying. Thank you to Dr. Chu and every member of the team for the exceptional care you provide. I am deeply grateful.

Dr Chu was exceptional. I have been through prior breast cancer so I have first hand experience as to what a difference this facility and the staff have been to me. I am not scared; but feel safe and absolutely impressed. Thank you for the opportunity to make a comment. It would be a benefit to anyone with breast cancer to know what a comfort it was to meet this physician.
