After growing up in the Midwest, I fell in love with the West Coast while completing my orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. After residency, I went on to complete a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
I love orthopedic surgery because it allows me to help patients recover from injuries, regain function, and return to the activities they love. I am passionate about empowering patients through education. I believe that when patients understand their condition, treatment options, and potential challenges during recovery, they are better equipped to navigate their care and achieve successful outcomes.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy hiking, skiing, and exploring the beautiful outdoors in and around Reno.
