Renown Promotes Cristal Woodley to Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Renown Health announces the promotion of Cristal Woodley, MBA, to Vice President of Marketing and Communications, recognizing her leadership, strategic vision and impact in advancing the organization’s brand, reputation and community engagement. Ms. Woodley formerly served as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications.

Driving Growth, Engagement and Brand Excellence

In her expanded role, Ms. Woodley will oversee marketing, communications, brand strategy, digital engagement, internal communications, physician outreach and recruitment marketing for Renown Health.

Ms. Woodley has played a key role in advancing Renown’s integrated marketing communications, supporting major organizational objectives, partnerships, service line growth, employee recruitment, digital and web strategy and community outreach, and Renown’s strategic plan.

Over the past decade, Ms. Woodley has made substantial contributions to Renown Health in her current role as well as previous roles, including Director of Marketing and Customer Engagement, Manager of Web and Digital Marketing, Marketing Business Partner, Web Coordinator and Marketing Intern.

Ms. Woodley holds an MBA in IT Management from Western Governors University and a dual BS in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Nevada, Reno. Ms. Woodley is a native Nevadan, and serves on the Board of Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Chris Nicholas Appointed to American Hospital Association Regional Board

Chris Nicholas, MHA, FACHE, CEO of Renown Regional Medical Center and COO of Renown Health will serve as a Nevada state delegate to American Hospital Association (AHA) Regional Policy Board 9. The AHA is the national nonprofit organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks and their patients and communities. AHA regional policy boards are part of the AHA’s formal governance structure. The organization uses regional recommendations to inform national health policy development. Regional policy boards meet three times annually. The Nevada Hospital Association (NHA) appointed Nicholas to a two-year term through December 31, 2027.
