Our Pediatric Sports Medicine program focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing injuries in young athletes — from sprains and strains to ACL tears and concussions. We partner with orthopedic specialists, rehabilitation therapists, and families to help kids recover stronger and return to the activities they love.
- Common injuries treated (ACL, concussions, growth plate issues).
- Return-to-play protocols.
- Prevention education (e.g., safe training, proper equipment, conditioning).
- Team evaluation + individualized plans.
What We Treat
Young athletes experience injuries differently than adults. Our team treats a wide range of sports-related conditions, including:
- Knee pain and ligament injuries, including ACL tears
- Concussions and head injuries
- Overuse injuries and stress fractures
- Growth plate injuries
- Sprains, strains, and muscle injuries
- Shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot injuries
Care plans are based on the child’s age, sport, activity level, and stage of growth.
Our Approach to Care
Growing bodies need specialized attention. Our pediatric sports medicine team combines orthopedic expertise with a deep understanding of youth development to guide care decisions.
We focus on:
- Early and accurate diagnosis
- Non-surgical treatment whenever appropriate
- Clear guidance for families and caregivers
- Coordination with orthopedic specialists and rehabilitation teams
Each treatment plan is designed to support healing while protecting long-term growth and mobility.
